Job summary

QXO is seeking a dependable delivery driver to support touch-freight operations, inspecting trucks, and ensuring loads are accurate for on-time distribution. You will work outdoors in varying weather, maintain clear communication with dispatch, and uphold DOT safety standards while loading and unloading materials.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B license, at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and the ability to operate heavy equipment with a manual transmission.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving loads over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
