Job summary

US LBM is seeking a dependable CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to active job sites and storage locations across defined routes. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and ensure timely deliveries with professional customer interactions.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a Class A or B CDL, and at least 1–2 years of CDL experience with flat beds or tractor trailers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic CDL with flat beds/tractor trailers required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber/building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Delivers to active construction sites and finished locations; city and inter-state travel may occur.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provides professional customer service and communicates effectively with clients.
• Loads, unloads, and secures materials; verifies orders.
• Maintains DOT logs and adheres to hours-of-service requirements.
• Operates truck-mounted forklift as needed.
• Stocking and organizing inventory in warehouse.
