Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM, seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites and distribution centers across Texas. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs, and ensure loads are secured and delivered accurately.

Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, Class A or B CDL, 1–2 years CDL experience with flatbeds or tractor trailers, and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers is required.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber/building materials is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and maintain logs.
• Provide professional customer service and relay messages on site.
• Secure loads, verify orders, and unload materials safely.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and assist with warehouse stocking.
