Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Curtis Bay, MD is seeking a CDL Driver to support warehouse and delivery operations. You will deliver materials to customer sites or branch locations, keep the vehicle clean, maintain logs and DVIRs, and assist with loading/unloading daily.

You will observe DOT regulations, coordinate deliveries with our own trucks, and contribute to warehouse functions as needed. A valid CDL, clean driving record, and English fluency are required, with SAP knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation preferred.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record is essential.
• Valid Class A (or B) CDL for state of residence with current medical certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Pole Drivers must be familiar with over-size load permits and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customer sites or branch locations.
• Maintain delivery vehicle in clean, good working condition and monitor maintenance/mileage data.
• Maintain daily driver logs and DVIRs.
• Complete truck summaries and driver logs daily.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate deliveries with our own trucks and understand truck routes.
• Assist with loading and unloading material and support warehouse operations.
