Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Buda, TX seeks a CDL Driver to support warehouse operations and material deliveries to customer sites and branch locations.

You will maintain a clean vehicle, log daily driver logs, and ensure vehicle inspections are completed daily while following DOT rules and company policies. The role involves loading/unloading, coordinating with internal trucks, and contributing to warehouse functions as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is preferred.
• Minimum of 21 years of age is required.
• A valid Class A (or B) CDL with current medical certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English is required.
• Working knowledge of Windows, internet, email, and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides delivery of material to customer sites or branch locations.
• Maintains delivery vehicle in clean, good working condition and monitors maintenance/mileage data.
• Maintains daily driver logs and daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
• Completes truck summary, driver’s log, and other backup detail daily.
• Observes all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and Border States policies.
• Coordinates deliveries with our own trucks when needed.
• Loads and unloads material at branch/customer locations.
• Supports warehouse operation functions.
