Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a CDL Driver to support warehouse and delivery operations.

You will deliver materials to customer sites and branch locations, keep the vehicle clean, maintain logs and DVIRs, and assist with loading/unloading while providing exceptional customer service. Qualified candidates have a valid CDL A or B, are at least 21, have a clean driving record, and can read, write, and speak English; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year business/trade degree or equivalent in work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation is preferred.
• Minimum of 21 years of age is required.
• Clean driving record is essential.
• A valid Class A (or B) CDL driver’s license for the state of residence with a current medical certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English required.
• Working knowledge of SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides delivery of material to customer sites or branch locations.
• Maintains delivery vehicle in clean, good working condition and monitors maintenance data.
• Maintains daily driver logs and daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
• Completes truck summary and driver’s log daily.
• Loads and unloads material at the branch and customer locations and supports warehouse functions.
