Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to support daily warehouse operations, delivering materials to branches and customer sites. The role includes maintaining vehicles, completing logs, and ensuring accurate records.

You will load/unload materials and assist with incidental warehouse tasks while upholding safety regulations. Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience and knowledge of electrical products/systems is preferred.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles is required.
• Current medical certification is required.
• Clean driving record is essential.
• Working knowledge of Windows and internet; SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides delivery of material to Border States branches and customer sites based on business needs.
• Maintains delivery vehicle in clean, good working condition and monitors maintenance and mileage data.
• Schedules DOT/state mandated inspection visits and maintains daily driver logs and vehicle inspection sheets.
• Completes truck summary, driver’s log and other backup detail daily; pays truck expenses and updates records.
• Loads and unloads material and coordinates deliveries with internal/external carriers as needed.
• May perform warehouse functions such as order filling, stocking, processing returns, receiving and shipping.
