Job summary

Wampum Hardware Co is hiring a full-time truck driver in Peebles, OH to support blasting operations. The role involves outdoor work in all weather, lifting up to 60 pounds, and operating a truck to auger product into holes on construction-like sites.

Responsibilities include pre-trip loading, paperwork, safety compliance, and post-trip inspections. CDL (Class-A/B) with Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements are preferred; training and endorsement support available within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift, up to 60 lbs. regularly.
• Valid Class-A or Class-B CDL license with clean driving record.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements preferred; can help you get there. Endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• CDL should allow operation of both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must meet state and federal explosive laws and qualify as ATF explosive possessor.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip, load truck with product, and complete required paperwork.
• Drive to construction-like terrain sites and operate the truck to auger product into holes.
• Return to main facility, conduct post-trip inspection, and prepare truck for next day.
