Job summary

CEVA Logistics is hiring a Driver III in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The role focuses on safe, efficient cargo transport and adhering to all safety and DOT regulations. You will load/unload using a forklift and pallet jack while maintaining accurate delivery documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months related driving experience; may substitute 3 years of industry driving experience for education.
• Valid Class C driver's license and acceptable driving record per DOT/TSA policies; forklift certification; DOT dangerous goods and hazardous materials certifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as a messenger for the company and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Protect company equipment and freight from damage, theft, or tampering.
• Ensure cargo is secured and documented correctly; verify delivery paperwork.
• Load freight using forklift and pallet jack; secure with load locks, straps, and covers; unload as needed.
• Report any irregularities in pickup/delivery, including damages or shortages.
• Report delays due to weather, breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies.
• Comply with Transportation Security Administration security requirements.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum six months related experience

Minimum 3 years industry driving experience

Tools

Class C driver's license

Forklift certification
