Job summary

The position requires a valid Class B or C CDL, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to pass DOT medical and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (Class B or C) with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical examination and obtain a medical card.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and participate in random testing.
• Defensive Driving Course must be completed prior to driving a company vehicle.
• Endorsements for passenger or airbrake may be required to operate all vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lb.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle inspections before and after routes.
• Maintain a pleasant, clean atmosphere inside and outside the vehicle.
• Drive vehicles under 26,000 lb GVW transporting passengers or supplies.
• Drive defensively and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with clerical tasks and dispatcher duties when needed.
• Keep accurate vehicle logbooks and rider information logs.
• Fuel, clean, and inspect vehicles as required.
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
