The CDL Driver I delivers materials to job sites, secures loads, inspects and maintains trucks, reports shortages and claims to supervisors, and assists in loading and storing materials. This role typically involves driving a truck with a capacity of more than three tons, requiring a valid Class A CDL license.

Rate of Pay: $30.90 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a current Class A CDL license.
• Prepare DOT logs of duty and driving time.
• Organize, secure, and inspect loads.
• Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring order accuracy.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Operate truck-mounted forklift as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of trucks and yard.
• Participate in training and team activities.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years CDL experience, preferably with flatbeds or tractor trailers.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and DOT regulations.
