Job summary

Anheuser-Busch in Portland, ME is hiring delivery drivers to bring our iconic beer brands to local accounts. You will operate delivery trucks or vans, load, deliver, rotate products, and build strong relationships with retailers.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a safe driving record, and the ability to lift up to 165 lbs. You should be 21+, willing to work nights and weekends, with a focus on accurate paperwork and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must have a safe driving record.
• Previous delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver product to retail account.
• Manually load and unload product from truck.
• Deliver and rotate Anheuser-Busch products in retail accounts.
• Build strong relationships with retailers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner and rotating product as necessary to ensure freshness.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms, load sheets and cash/checks within appropriate time frames.
• Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner.
• Collect payment for product as required. Balance invoices with checks, cash, etc. at end of day.
• Look for innovation and continuous improvement in the delivery department and in the company overall.

SALARY: $31.46 per hour + commission & overtime opportunity; Monthly Variable Compensation Pay of up to an additional 3%

SHIFT: Tuesday-Friday (workdays subject to change based on holidays/weather)

• Start Time : 3:00AM-1:30PM OR 6:00AM-4:30PM (vary based on route coverage needed)

ROLE SUMMARY:
