Job summary

Anheuser-Busch is hiring a Warehouse Personnel to join the AB ONE Wholesalers team in Portland, ME. You will build palletized loads from load sheets, load and unload trucks, and ensure stock integrity while following safety standards.

The role requires lifting up to 165 pounds, operating forklift equipment, and maintaining clean, compliant facilities. Vocollect picking experience is a plus and flexible hours are common. This is a full-time warehouse position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; no degree required for AB ONE Wholesalers.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record; ability to lift up to 165 pounds and meet physical requirements
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and/or holidays; forklift certification preferred
• Experience in consumer packaged goods/beverage industry and distribution/warehouse preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately build palletized loads from computer-generated load sheets
• Load/unload delivery and over-the-road trucks and ensure proper stock rotation
• Ensure loaded product meets AB standards
• Use lean six-sigma tools to improve warehouse efficiency and KPIs
• Keep facility clean and maintained
• Assist in meeting Logistics Safety/Environmental compliance
• Safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.) as needed

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse employee, you are responsible for ensuring the correct product is loaded onto the truck. You are the one who validates the load is built correctly, to protect the product and ensure employee safety. You have all the resources needed to fulfill the aspects of your job, including detailed pick lists and Vocollectpicking system.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately build palletized loads from computer-generated load sheets
• Load and unload delivery and over-the-road trucks and ensure proper stock rotation in the warehouse and on the trucks
• Ensure loaded product meets Anheuser-Busch standards
• Utilize lean six-sigma tools to increase warehouse efficiencies and manage key performance indicators
• Ensure facility cleanliness and maintenance
• Assist in meeting Logistics Safety/Environmental compliance
• Safely operate various types of warehouse equipment (pallet jack, walkie rider, forklift, etc.) as necessary

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required (no degree required for any position within AB ONE Wholesalers!)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid Drivers License and safe driving recordAbility to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 165 pounds and fulfill all physical requirements of the job
• Ability to work in a wide temperature variation (36°-Temperature outside)
• Ability and willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to obtain Forklift certification (forklift certified preferred)
• Working knowledge of Anheuser-Busch product portfolio
• Previous consumer packaged goods / beverage industry experience preferred
• Previous distribution/warehouse experience preferred
