Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a dependable Driver to operate trucks and trailers with GVWR 26,001+ lbs, delivering and installing equipment at customer sites. You will represent the company and maintain positive relations with customers while performing required pre- and post-trip inspections.

The role requires driving a manual transmission, loading/unloading materials, and adhering to DOT regulations. A Class A license, good driving record, and basic roadside skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 months of verifiable DOT truck driving experience required.
• Valid Class A Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and trailers with GVWR 26,001+ lbs, including manual transmission.
• Load, secure, and unload materials for scheduled deliveries.
• Assist field crew with installation of equipment as required.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer sites.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures and invoicing.
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records and driver logs.
• Comply with FMCSA/DOT regulations and required inspections.
