Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to operate trucks and trailers (GVWR 26,001+ lbs) for picking up, delivering and unloading pipe and equipment. You will be the first line of customer service, working outside and delivering/installing systems at customer sites.

Applicants must be able to drive a manual transmission, have 18+ months of verifiable DOT trucking experience, and hold a valid Class A license with the ability to obtain a DOT physical card.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Verifiable DOT truck driving experience (18+ months) required.
• Valid Class A driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT physical card.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and trailers with GVWR 26,001+ pounds to pick up, deliver and unload pipe and equipment.
• Load, secure, and unload materials for scheduled deliveries to customers or branches.
• Assist field crew with installing tanks, pumps, pipes, and related equipment.
• Maintain DOT logs and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Complete job-site analyses, obtain signatures for work orders, and manage paperwork.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and minor roadside repairs.
