Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Driver to be the first point of contact for customers, delivering and installing systems in outdoor environments. You will operate trucks with GVWR 26,001+ pounds, drive manual transmission, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

You will load/unload equipment, interact with customers for signatures, and maintain driver logs and paperwork while supporting installation tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Experience driving commercial trucks and delivering equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read maps, plan routes, and maintain logs as required by DOT.

Responsibilities

• Drive manual transmission trucks (GVWR 26,001 lb+) to pick up, deliver, and unload equipment.
• Secure loads with appropriate equipment and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing.
• Maintain accurate delivery/pick-up records and driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Assist with installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, and related equipment.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform minor on-site roadside repairs as needed.
