Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a CDL driver (Class A) in Riverside, CA to pick up, deliver, and unload pipe and equipment. You will represent the company with customers while driving trucks up to 26,001+ lbs and ensuring safe, timely deliveries.

The role requires driving a manual transmission, a valid Class A license, and a clean DOT record. Travel up to 25% may be required; comprehensive benefits are offered by Rain for Rent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with DOT experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Clean DOT record and ability to obtain a DOT Physical Card.
• Willingness to travel 1–25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks (GVWR 26,001+ lbs) to pick up, deliver and unload company pipe and equipment.
• Maintain DOT logs and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing.
• Assist field crew with unloading and installing tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment as required.
• Complete paperwork for deliveries and pickups in a timely manner.
• Conduct minor roadside repairs as needed.
