Job summary

Lewis Environmental is seeking a CDL-trained driver to support environmental services projects across our fleet. You will transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, respond to emergencies, and ensure safe operation and compliance of vehicles.

Requirements include a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience, a clean MVR, and OSHA safety training. Flexible hours and weekend availability are helpful for on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience, preferably with hazmat handling.
• Clean MVR and successful FMCSA background check.
• 40 hours of OSHA/safety training is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of CDL trucks for environmental projects.
• Maintain DOT/OSHA certifications and handle hazardous materials.
• Follow safety rules and complete required training.
• Respond to environmental spills as On-Call Emergency Response Team member.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain equipment.
• Ensure compliant transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Assist in other service technician duties as part of the team.
