The Role

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team in Dayton, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by adhering to all work practices, rules, regulations, and policies.
• Drive and operate CDL-required equipment such as Roll-Off Trucks, Flat Bed Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, and Service Trucks; perform Pre/Post Trip inspections.
• Document all required company, federal, state, and customer paperwork clearly and legibly.
• Operate high-pressure water-blaster and vacuum equipment.
• Provide On-call Emergency Response Support.
• Perform field technician duties like shoveling and tank cleaning.
• Communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives.
• Lead and direct subordinate personnel safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Maintain equipment and property in proper condition.
• Work in Elevated or Confined Space areas and follow safety protocols (training provided).

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Class “A” or “B” CDL with Tanker Endorsement (N) or Hazardous Endorsement (X), air brakes, and current DOT medical certificate.
• Experience driving manual 10-speed or higher transmission.
• Maintain insurability under company insurance.
• Ability to work in Elevated or Confined Spaces, with Lock-Out Tag-Out and Crane Safety (training provided).
• Proficiency in English to understand safety instructions and emergency procedures.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
• Ability to perform Technician 1 duties within 30 days, and Technician 2 & 3 within one year.
• Physical ability to sit, lift (minimum 50 lbs), stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl repeatedly.
• Work in extreme conditions: heat, cold, dust, wet conditions.
• Work in confined spaces and wear protective gear.
• Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
• Work extended hours, on-call, and variable shifts.
