Job summary

The Terraces at Los Altos - a HumanGood community is seeking an on-call Commercial Driver. You will greet residents and visitors, transport them safely in community vehicles, and assist with carrying packages and luggage. Class B license with P Endorsement and a clean DMV record are required.

Friday–Saturday on-call hours 9am–5pm, with potential extra hours for events. Pay range: $30–$32 per hour. Join a Resident Services team focused on hospitality and customer service, with a comprehensive

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, team members and visitors warmly and confidently.

• Maintain and may clean vehicles; ensure safe travel within the community.

Job description

Under general supervision, the Commercial Driver position is responsible for greeting all residents, team members, and visitors in a warm, confident, and knowledgeable manner. She/he is responsible for ensuring the safe travel of the residents, visitors, and team members of the community. Works as a member of the Resident Services team to deliver excellence in hospitality and customer service. She/he is responsible for assisting with carrying of packages, groceries, and luggage for transportation within the community. Transports residents in cars, trams, busses and/or vans to appointments, local shopping, and/or activities; provides assistance to the residents; and maintains and may clean the vehicle(s).

This is an on-call position. (Class B is required)

On Call coverage needed: Fridays and Saturdays 9am-5pm. Possibility of extra hours depending on events and/or outings scheduled as needed.

Pay Range: 30-32/hr
