Job summary

HumanGood is seeking a Commercial Driver to greet residents and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring safe transport for residents, team members and guests within the community. You will transport residents in cars, trams, buses or vans to appointments and activities, assist with packages and luggage, and help with vehicle upkeep as needed.

This is an on-call role requiring a Class B license with P endorsement.

Qualifications

• One to three years of driving experience with a clean DMV record.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents in cars, trams, buses and/or vans to appointments, local shopping, and/or activities.
• Provides assistance to residents, and maintains and may clean the vehicle(s).
• Greets residents, team members, and visitors in a warm, confident, and knowledgeable manner.

Description

Under general supervision, the Commercial Driver position is responsible for greeting all residents, team members, and visitors in a warm, confident, and knowledgeable manner. She/he is responsible for ensuring the safe travel of the residents, visitors, and team members of the community. Works as a member of the Resident Services team to deliver excellence in hospitality and customer service. She/he is responsible for assisting with carrying of packages, groceries, and luggage for transportation within the community. Transports residents in cars, trams, busses and/or vans to appointments, local shopping, and/or activities; provides assistance to the residents; and maintains and may clean the vehicle(s).

This is an on-call position. (Class B is required)

On Call coverage needed: Fridays and Saturdays 9am-5pm. Possibility of extra hours depending on events and/or outings scheduled as needed.

Pay Range: 30-32/hr
