Job summary

Paylocity is hiring a Driver to transport residents in a timely manner, with potential night and weekend shifts to accomplish duties. You will ensure passenger safety and assist with needs, enter daily schedules, and maintain administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include planning efficient routes, keeping vehicles fueled and maintained, and always interacting with residents and staff professionally while adhering to traffic laws.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement and at least three years of commercial driving experience.
• Excellent navigation skills and proficiency with navigation applications.
• Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and people skills.

Job Objective/ Summary

Drivers are responsible for transporting residents in a timely manner and may have to work nights and weekends to accomplish their duties.

Essential Functions

• Transport residents to and from destinations safely, in a timely manner, and on schedule.
• Assist residents with special needs to board and exit vehicles.
• Assist residents with personal items and packages.
• Enter transportation slips on the computer and create a daily schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Always interact with residents and staff professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and rules.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date mileage and repair records.
• Inspect vehicles for operational fitness before use and at the end of shift.
• Immediately report all needed vehicle repairs.
• Wash and maintain interior of vehicles.
• Immediately report any adverse incidents or accidents.

Requirements

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• A valid CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement, and at least three years of commercial driving experience.

Supervision (direct reports and level of supervision)

• Works under the direction of the Lifestyle Director. Decision Making Authority
• Best route to avoid traffic, construction, and weather delays. Additional Requirements/Preferences
• Must successfully pass the mandated criminal background checks.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and reference checks.
• Must be able to pass a professional driving test.
• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Category III

Your tasks do not involve routine exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, or other contaminated materials. In the event of an unexpected blood, body fluid or tissue spill there will be an employee available who has been designated to take responsibility for clean-up and decontamination of potentially infectious body substances. You are not to come in contact with potentially infectious body substances.
