Job summary

PODS is seeking a CDL driver responsible for the delivery and pickup of containers at customer locations. You will ensure safe, incident-free operations and maintain strong customer rapport while following all safety rules.

You will also log inspections, perform add-on deliveries, and use a handheld computer for verification. As a valued team member, you will operate a forklift or overhead crane as required, handle rental paperwork, coordinate with leadership, and assist in storage center tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL A or B license is required.
• Minimum of 3 months experience as a CDL driver.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup containers to customer locations safely.
• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a lift mechanism.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and lift.
• Accept add-on deliveries as needed to meet business needs.
• Use handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate forklift and/or overhead crane when required.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with customers.
• Provide backup for storage center functions when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab and equipment.

Pay Rate:Minimum $23 per hour Maximum $23.50 per hour

Our wage ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation that may also include incentives, benefits, and other opportunities at PODS. To qualify, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent as well as a minimum of 3 months of experience employed as a CDL driver. In addition, you must maintain a current/valid CDL A or B from the state in which position is assigned and be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement).
