Job summary

KI Lumber & Building Materials seeks a CDL driver to operate company equipment and deliver building materials to customers. You will follow safety procedures, perform DOT-required logs, and help maintain orderly yard and warehouse operations.

The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL, basic interstate experience, and strong customer service skills. You will work with a team, assist in loading/unloading, and ensure compliance with all company policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL experience preferred; basic CDL with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
• 1–3 years CDL interstate commerce experience.
• Maintain current operator's license and meet company driver qualifications.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Deliver and unload materials to customers' satisfaction.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Complete daily equipment pre-inspection.
• Record returned merchandise and assist in unloading for credit.
• Follow Department of Transportation guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Relay messages from customers on job sites.
• Assist supervisor and other employees as assigned.
