Job summary

Casella is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to safely operate rear load, front load, side load, and roll off trucks while delivering prompt waste removal services on designated routes. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and compliance in residential and commercial environments throughout New York.

The position offers a hiring range of $25-28 per hour with a $5,000 signing bonus and a structured Career Pathways program for advancement, merit increases, and safety incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license required; ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle and maintains appearance per safety standards.
• Operates rear/front/side/roll-off trucks safely on streets, driveways, and sites and provides courteous service.
• Communicates professionally with customers and documents route activities and incidents.
• Attends trainings and reports service interruptions or safety concerns to Dispatch.
• Completes paperwork accurately and adheres to company policies and regulatory requirements.
