Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL or CLP prior to entering job classification.
• Must have an acceptable MVR based on hiring standards.
• Must meet all DOT regulatory requirements under 49 CFR.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combination including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor/trailer.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Communicate with Dispatch and follow instructions regarding events.
• Ensure hazmat placarding matches shipments when required.
• Provide internal and external customer service.
• Perform freight handling duties as needed.
