Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL or a commercial learning permit (CLP).
• Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under FMC regulations.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies as required.
• Handle freight with power equipment and secure loads inside trailers.
• Ensure required documentation and reports are completed.
• Communicate with Dispatch about delays, issues, or pickups.
• Demonstrate customer service to internal and external clients.
• Comply with DOT hazmat regulations and company procedures.
