Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL or CLP with acceptable MVR.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work independently or in a team.
• Physical ability to sit, bend, climb and handle freight in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers and perform safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and handle freight using motorized and manual equipment.
• Secure, recoup, or repair freight as needed.
• Complete documentation, verify shipments, and process freight charges.
• Follow hazardous material regulations and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries and pick-ups.
• Perform additional duties such as tire chaining and supporting road or freight handling tasks.
