Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking an experienced truck driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks, to move trailers between service centers and turn-point locations.

You will drive long distances, perform safety inspections, hook and unhook trailers, keep accurate logs, and complete documentation while communicating with dispatch. Some shifts may require overnight stays and exposure to hazardous materials handling guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A or CLP.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.
• Meet DOT regulatory requirements for drivers.
• Basic math, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift ~100 pounds repeatedly and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/straights between service centers and turn-points.
• Perform safety inspections and daily vehicle checks.
• Hook and unhook trailers and manage basic freight handling.
• Maintain logs and complete shipment documentation; communicate with dispatch.
• Forklift operation and dock work may be required.
• Adhere to hazardous materials handling guidelines and company policies.
