FedEx Freight, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a driver/dock worker to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles, and perform pre-trip inspections and freight handling on the dock.

Responsibilities include securing freight, communicating with dispatch, assisting on road duties when needed, and complying with DOT regulations. Must hold a Class A CDL or CLP, a clean MVR, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Competenze

• Must possess a Class A CDL or commercial learning permit (CLP).
• Must have acceptable MVR based on hiring standards and meet DOT regulations.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at the dock and on the road.

Mansioni

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convert dollies to/from tractors.
• Handle freight using forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Communicate with Dispatch regarding delays, arrivals, or equipment issues.
• Assist with road duties when needed and support warehouse/dock operations.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company procedures and complete required reports.
