Job summary

US LBM is seeking a CDL Driver I responsible for the safe transportation of materials across job sites in Vermont. The ideal candidate will possess a Class A or B Driver's license and have a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include operating commercial vehicles, conducting safety inspections, accurately delivering materials, and maintaining logs in compliance with federal regulations. Pay rate ranges from $27.00 to $30.00/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver materials to construction sites and other locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs.
