Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a CDL driver to support our branch network in Utah. You will load, transport, and stage materials, performing pre-trip inspections and ensuring safe, on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
