Job summary

QXO is seeking a reliable CDL driver to join our team in Glendale, AZ. The role involves loading and delivering building products, performing touch-freight tasks, and maintaining safety on site.

You will pre-inspect, load, and verify shipments, communicate with dispatch, and follow DOT safety procedures while operating in all weather conditions. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
