Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in San Diego is seeking a CDL Driver to support our transportation team. You will drive residents to appointments and outings using company vehicles, ensuring safety and comfort on every trip.

Weekend availability is required; CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be needed in certain states. You will participate in vehicle upkeep and assist with activities, delivering friendly, responsive service to residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with laws.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including wheelchair lifts.
• Conduct daily upkeep and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed.
• Assist with receptionist or concierge duties as needed.
• Deliver hospitality and excellent customer service on every interaction.

Full-Time - Sunday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:30pm

PRN(On-Call/As Needed) CDL Driver - Weekend availability required

• CDL with Passenger Endorsement required

• Must be willing to assist with Senior resident activities as needed

$23-$25/hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will work as part of our transportation team to provide exceptional hospitality and safe transportation to residents of Belmont Village Senior Living by driving them to scheduled appointments and recreational outings using company owned cars and wheelchair-accessible passenger van or shuttle bus.

You will play a critical role in the day-to-day upkeep and safety inspections for all company vehicles. By combining your safe driving skills, local area knowledge, patience and exceptional hospitality you will help make every trip comfortable and enjoyable.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances

• Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift

• Actively participate in the day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles which may include fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointments

• Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed

• Assist with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed

• Make hospitality, customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Please note CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states.

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Demonstrated willingness to learn and work
