Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a Driver to operate in Sacramento, CA, delivering residential and commercial roofing and building products. You will drive the most efficient route to job sites, load and secure materials, and assist in unloading using cranes or by hand.

You’ll represent Gulfeagle Supply on site and may lead others on the team. Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B with clean MVR/DOT, being 21 or older, and current Medical Certification.

Qualifications

• Valid state CDL Class A or B with clear MVR and DOT record.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Current Medical Certification Card.
• Recent CDL driving position in the previous year.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material.
• Able to climb a 40’ ladder.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• Must pass a company-required drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks daily and help unload materials using crane, conveyor, piggybacks or by hand.

Driver

Responsibilities

Our drivers are responsible for safely driving the most efficient route to the job site while observing and obeying all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies. They assist in loading and/or securing materials on trucks daily and help unload materials using crane, conveyor, piggybacks or by hand. Drivers serve as the face of the company on the jobsite, lead, instruct, and supervise others.

Qualifications

• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with clear MVR and DOT record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must have current and valid Medical Certification Card
• Must have held CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
• Must have a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
• Must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb a 40’ ladder
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a company‑required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy

Preferred

• Previous material handling experience
• Previous forklift experience
• Certified to operate a crane
