Job summary

Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver in Portsmouth, NH. The role involves delivering materials and supporting warehouse operations, with daily starts around 7:00 AM and a typical 4:30 PM finish.

You will be a front-line Lansing representative, providing outstanding service to customers at diverse job sites. The position requires a CDL B (or A) license, clean driving record, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Must drive independently and work as part of a team.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement and represents Lansing to customers.
• Splits time between deliveries and warehouse duties.
• Operates a moffett forklift for deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and job-site crews.
• Provides outstanding service to Lansing customers and seeks to improve service levels.
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly and may perform other tasks as needed.

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
