Job summary

Lansing Building Products in Augusta, ME, seeks a reliable CDL Driver to support deliveries and warehouse operations. You will represent Lansing with customers and crews, ensuring timely, courteous service and safe handling of products.

duties include driving routes, operating a moffett forklift, and assisting in warehouse tasks as needed. A valid CDL and clean driving record are required, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL Driver qualifications include a CDL B (or A) license.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience preferred.

• Lives the mission statement.
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative with strong customer service.
• Splits time between deliveries and warehouse tasks.
• Uses a moffett forklift for deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and crews at job sites.
• Delivers exceptional service to Lansing customers and strives to improve it.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and orderly.
• May perform other duties such as cycle counts or inside sales.

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

Lives the mission statement

Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service

Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse

Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries

Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites

Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service

Keeps warehouse clean and orderly

This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

CDL B (or A) license is required for this position

CDL Driver must have a clean driving record

Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team

Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds

Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful

Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude

At leastoneyear ofdriving experience

Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
