Associated Fire Protection is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various distances while adhering to all safety regulations. About Us

Essential Functions- including but not limited to:

• Pick up and deliver supplies to the various departments in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Operate commercial motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles as well as daily inspections.
• Responsible for daily DOT manifest.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks and the stocking of inventory in the warehouse.
• Assist in warehouse maintenance as needed.
• Open and close the company’s building and maintain the grounds, as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and set up of company meetings, training, and seminars.
• Perform general multi-departmental functions, as needed.

• This position includes a lot of interaction with customers and coworkers. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and enjoy collaboration with others.
• The successful candidate should read and be aligned with company’s mission statement, vision and values.
• Depending on skill level, the successful candidate must be able to manage, lead and mentor people.

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience and Education- including but not limited to:

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record is required, hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Ability to operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform simple tasks independently.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Well organized, self-motivated, flexible and a team player.
• Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed; ability to perform physical and mental functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work on Job sites that may include construction sites and other locations where personal protective equipment will be required, and work in confined spaces.
• The position has frequent periods of stress.
