Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL Driver in Norwood, MA to support deliveries and warehouse operations. You will represent Lansing at job sites, deliver building products, assist customers, and help keep the warehouse organized.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong customer service. Ideal candidates have a CDL B, a clean driving record, at least one year of driving experience, and forklift/piggyback familiarity.

Qualifications

• CDL B license required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently as part of a larger team.
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

Responsibilities

• Live the Lansing Building Products mission.
• Provide outstanding customer service as a Lansing front-line representative.
• Split time between deliveries and warehouse work.
• Operate a moffett forklift during deliveries.
• Interact with customers and crews at job sites.
• Maintain high service levels for Lansing customers.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Perform additional duties as needed (cycle counts, inventory, inside sales).

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
