Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL Driver in Florida to join our team. The driver will split time between delivering building products to job sites and performing warehouse duties, representing Lansing to customers daily.

Candidate should have a CDL license, clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Forklift certification and experience with piggyback trucks are a plus; 1+ year driving experience preferred. We offer strong benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required for this position.
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Strong customer service skills, integrity, and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

Responsibilities

• Live the mission statement.
• Serve as Lansing's front-line representative delivering outstanding customer service.
• Split time between deliveries and warehouse duties.
• Operate a moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interact with customers and crews at job sites.
• Maintain a high level of service for Lansing customers.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• May perform other duties such as cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales.

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

Lives the mission statement

Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service

Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse

Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries

Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites

Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service

Keeps warehouse clean and orderly

This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:
