Lansing Building Products LLC is seeking a CDL driver to join our team in the Nashville area. The role involves making deliveries, assisting in the warehouse, and representing Lansing with customers at job sites.

Typical day starts around 7:00 AM and ends around 4:30 PM, with no weekend work depending on location. Qualifications include a CDL A license, clean driving record, ability to lift 70 pounds, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement.
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service.
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and crews at job sites.
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer and strives to improve that level of service.
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
• May perform other functions such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

Lives the mission statement

This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

CDL A license is required for this position

CDL Driver must have a clean driving record

Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team

Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds

Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful

Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude

At leastoneyear ofdriving experience

Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
