Job summary

Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver to support our delivery and warehouse operations in Norwood, MA. The role involves delivering building materials, assisting customers on-site, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will operate a forklift, manage accurate paperwork, and coordinate with branches to ensure timely, courteous service. CDL B (or A) license and a clean driving record are required, with physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

HOME EVERY NIGHT!

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
