Job Summary

The CDL Driver will safely transport cash and valuables between Brink's and customer sites, guard the vehicle and cargo, maintain communication, and handle documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and control Brink’s vehicles to and from customer sites.
• Guard the Cash Transport Guard at pick‑up and delivery locations.
• Enforce security rules for Brink’s premises and customer property.
• Guard safety, security, and control of the armored vehicle and liability.
• Maintain radio communication with the Cash Transport Guard, dispatch, and other crew members.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle.
• Complete required driving and delivery documentation.
• Report faults and incidents during daily activities.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the vehicle interior.
• Cross‑train and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Minimum of Class B or higher commercial driver’s license.
• Valid Department of Transportation requirements compliance.
• Valid firearms permit or ability to pass required licensing.
• Valid guard card or ability to obtain one.
• Chauffeur’s license or ability to obtain one (Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan residents only).
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of internal training, background check, drug screening, and pre‑employment verification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Air brake endorsement.
• Experience in commercial/fleet driving, security, military, or other professional driving.
