Job description

CDL Driver

The CDL Driver will take material to vendors and pick material up when ready. This role will also take material that needs to be transported between warehouses. Will be taking product from Chilton to Fond Du Lac and back daily.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck and trailer and obey all traffic laws.
• Strap down loads with chains or straps as needed.
• Performs inspections to vehicle prior to and following each trip; keeps vehicle maintained and serviced as needed, including refueling, changing oil, checking tire pressure, etc.
• Verify paperwork corresponds with parts pick up and ensure that vendors send appropriate paperwork with loads.
• Work with Scheduling Manager and Assembly Manager for schedule on pick up and delivery.

Qualifications

• Has a CDL to drive a combined truck and trailer
