Job description

NALCO Water, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for a Customer Delivery Specialist in Chicago, IL. You will be responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate diesel, multi-geared bobtail trucks/pups, and tractor-trailers.
2. Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles used for chemical delivery.
3. Deliver bulk/tanker chemicals within a 350-mile radius.
4. Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
5. Maintain accurate delivery logs and maps.
6. Communicate regularly with supervisors and sales teams.
7. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate safety gear.
8. Recognize and mitigate safety hazards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements, no restrictions.
• At least 3 years of compliant commercial driving experience.
• Willing to travel up to 5 days a week, home on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• No immigration sponsorship available.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience backing and parking bulk tankers and semi-trucks in narrow spaces.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials transportation regulations.
