Versiti is seeking a Phlebotomy Specialist with CDL to perform donor collection and drive mobile units. You will interact with donors, screen and collect samples, and ensure a high-quality donation experience.

The role requires a CDL with air brakes, strong customer service, and the ability to work a 4:00am–10:00pm schedule including weekends. A signing bonus and 8 weeks of phlebotomy training are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mathematical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other department manuals.
• Must be able to organize work to provide productive workflow.
• Ability to provide a consistently positive donor experience through professional, empathetic donor-centric service.
• Flexibility to work independently, with a team, and adapt to changing donor needs.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to respectfully provide and receive feedback to/from peers/donors/leadership.

Responsabilités

• With a valid CDL, may operate mobile drive buses and transport staff, supplies and equipment.
• Prepares collection site and performs setup, including technology systems.
• Performs donor screening ( histories ) and mini-physical and phlebotomy.
• Provide a service-centric donor experience and respond to inquiries and complaints.
• May conduct automation (Alyx and/or Trima) and recruit donors for automation.
• Maintain a positive team culture and assist coworkers.
• Maintain product integrity and complete department records; may prepare packages for transport.
• Observe donors for reactions and provide care as needed.
• Rebook donors for future appointments.
