Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is seeking a phlebotomy professional to perform blood collection and donor interactions under supervision. You will drive mobile units, ensuring safety and adherence to DOT guidelines while collecting high-quality samples.

The role requires a valid CDL with air brakes endorsement, a high school diploma or GED, and a customer-focused mindset to support community blood drives and donor engagement. Training is provided to successful candidates.

Qualifications

• CDL required with air brakes endorsement (B).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of people-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products under supervision.
• Operate mobile drive vehicles following DOT guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional donor experiences with safety and professionalism.
• Recruits and coordinates donations for automation (Alyx/Trima).
• Travel to other local collection sites as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper donor identification.
