Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently.
• Valid driver's license for vehicle type being operated.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training; levels 1 and 2.
• DOT qualification requirements for CMV operation when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles safely to deliver and/or pick up building materials to stores, vendors, and other sites.
• Verifies order details, records deliveries, and obtains signatures on paperwork as needed.
• Follows maps/directions to locate addresses efficiently.
• Acts as customer service liaison and helps resolve complaints.
• Notifies management of complaints or requests promptly.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles.
• Performs routine safety checks on vehicles.
• May assist in yard/warehouse with stocking and organizing materials.
• Operates forklift when required.
• Attends store meetings and training sessions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
