Job summary

LAZ Parking in Long Beach, CA seeks an experienced Dispatcher and Driver to join our team. The role includes scheduling and dispatching drivers, handling client calls, and maintaining logs and reports.

A valid CDL (Class A or B) with passenger endorsement is required, along with DOT medical certification and at least 2 years of related experience. The position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch, and offers competitive pay of $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and dispatches drivers.
• Answers calls from clients and schedules services.
• Maintains records, logs, and schedules of the calls received to schedule transit services, drivers dispatched, and customer cancellations or no-shows.
• Prepares reports on all activities occurring during their shifts.
• Directs drivers through radio contact.
• Track operational issues/concerns using a Customer Relations Management System.
• Report customer service and employee performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, customers and employees.
• Additional duties as assigned.
