Job summary

Townsend Building Supply, a division of Carter Lumber, seeks a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport building materials to local jobsites with a focus on safety and timeliness.

You will unload on site using a truck-mounted forklift and ensure materials are placed where customers need them. A current CDL and clean driving record are required, with forklift experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting customers while staying locally based.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience within building materials is preferred.
• Current CDL license and clean driving record required.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift is a plus.
• Familiarity with delivery equipment and material handling is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer sites safely and on schedule.
• Unload materials on site using a dump bed or forklift and place them as required.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during delivery visits.
